Join our Multi-Pitch Ice Climbing Program, a hands-on introduction to climbing multi-pitch routes in the Canadian Rockies. Designed for climbers who want to build on existing ice climbing skills or try multi-pitch climbing for the first time, this program is led by certified ACMG guides who tailor instruction to your skill level and climbing objectives.

One-Day Multi-Pitch Ice Climbing Adventure

Program Overview

This focused program introduces essential multi-pitch ice climbing skills, including belay transitions, anchor management, ice screw placements, and technical ice climbing techniques. Participants will gain practical experience on classic Canadian Rockies ice routes, all while receiving personalized guidance from certified ACMG instructors.

Program Itinerary

The day will include guided instruction and practice on multi-pitch ice climbing skills. Your ACMG guide will adapt the experience to match your ability and objectives, ensuring a safe and engaging learning environment.

Course Package

A detailed program package will be emailed 3 days prior to the activity.

Tipping Your Guide

If you had an exceptional experience, tips for guides are always appreciated. A 10–15% gratuity is customary and can be given in cash or arranged through the AAA office.
