Over two full days, you’ll develop essential skills including efficient splitboard touring, smooth transitions, uphill travel techniques, group travel strategies, and confident riding in variable snow conditions. This course is ideal for riders new to splitboarding who want to gain the knowledge and confidence to travel safely and efficiently in the backcountry.

If you need to rent splitboarding or backcountry gear, Alpine Air Adventures customers can use code AAA10 to receive 10% off all rentals when booking online with GearUp in Canmore. Click this LINK to visit their site for rental information.

This program pairs seamlessly with Avalanche Skills Training 1 (AST 1) and provides a natural progression toward more advanced objectives such as our Wapta Traverse or Rogers Pass Trips
