Rock Climbing Adventure: Beginner

The Course:

This program is a hands-on, immersive introduction to outdoor rock climbing, designed for climbers of all levels. Whether you're completely new to climbing, transitioning from indoor gyms to outdoor rock, or looking to refine your technical abilities, our certified ACMG guides will meet you where you're at and help you progress with confidence.

Throughout the day, you'll explore a range of movement techniques and technical skills fundamental to climbing outdoors—such as belaying, tying in, route reading, terrain assessment, and risk management.

Itinerary

• 7:45 AM: Meet your guide at our office in Banff
• 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM: Climb & Learn at a crag in Banff, Canmore, or Kananaskis

A detailed course package will be emailed 3 days prior to course commencement.

If you have an exceptional experience and would like to leave a tip for your guide, 10-15% is a customary amount. You can pay with cash or contact the AAA office directly to arrange.
