Mt. Andromeda
Mt Andromeda is a natural progression to our Mt Athabasca program and can be a great add on or done as a separate objective. Steeper snow ice via the Skyladder or East ridge route leads to the large summit plateau and views of the greater Columbia Ice fields which are amazing. Guests need to be in good to very good mountaineering fitness.
You will meet your guide either in Banff the afternoon the day before your climb then travel to the Columbia Ice Fields or meet at the Columbia Ice Fields campground to prep for the climb and spend the night.
Expect to be up early to make your way to the AA glacier and on wards to the summit. The climb can be anywhere from 8-14 hrs round trip depending on the group and conditions.
