Experience the Rockies like never before with our Banff Rappel Experience, a family-friendly adventure that blends breathtaking scenery with a fun, approachable introduction to rappelling. Perfect for families, beginners, and corporate groups, this 2.5-hour program is an unforgettable way to explore Banff's vertical terrain at your own pace.

The Program:

- Step 1: Meet your ACMG-certified guides at the Cascade falls parking lot, where you'll check in and sign a waiver. Google map will be shared with final logistics.

- Step 2: Get outfitted with your rappel kit, including a harness, helmet, gloves, and a Personal Rappelling System.

- Step 3: Learn the basics with a dry land practice session led by your guides.

- Step 4: Begin your descent! After hiking to the top of the rappel zone (approximately a 30 min casual hike) with expert guidance and triple-checked safety systems, you’ll rappel up to 30 meters (98.5 feet) while enjoying iconic views of Cascade Waterfall, Mt.Rundle & the Bow Valley.

If you have an exceptional experience and would like to leave a tip for your guide, 10-15% is a customary amount. You can pay with cash or contact the AAA office directly to arrange.
